Anita Shah.

Anita is an enthusiastic and passionate storyteller, captivating audiences across diverse settings. She started with delivering online stories for children in the covid times, honing the craft with gestures and props through interactive sessions. Anita expanded her storytelling skills by collaborating with educators, parents, and educational technology platforms. She is currently applying storytelling techniques in the realm of business communication, working with professionals to help them elevate their narrative prowess.

 

Professional Experience:

1) Children's Storytelling (2020 onward):

Initiated storytelling journey with a focus on engaging narratives for children. Developed and implemented interactive storytelling sessions to encourage creativity, imagination and improve vocabulary in young minds.

2) Educational Collaboration (2020 onward):

Conducted workshops for parents, teachers empowering them to become effective storytellers. Conducted Storytelling sessions for children (schools and edtech platforms)

3) Business Communication Storytelling (2022 onward):

Transitioned into the corporate realm, applying storytelling principles to enhance communication strategies. Working with professionals to incorporate storytelling techniques for impactful presentations, pitches and internal communications.

Kavita Shah.

Kavita is planning to open a Literacy Centre and a Reading and Storytelling Club in Ahmedabad.

 

She likes to work with children – and their parents and teachers – to help all involved gain insights into different aspects of storytelling.  On Independence Day, 2023, she told stories for 400 students (Stds 1 to 8) at a government school in Ahmedabad.

 

Kavita likes to enable young people to have visions and goals, and to increasingly develop life skills, especially those involving empathy, resilience, reflection, personal growth, and transformation.

 

Kavita has excellent communication and instructional skills.  She is a certified Grammar and Creative Writing Teacher, Public Speaking Facilitator, and Career Counsellor.

 

She has worked as an English, Social Studies, and Business Studies tutor for students in the 8th to 12th Stds (ICSE, IGCSE, and CBSE boards).  She was a Home Educator (in Mumbai) from 2002 to 2016. Currently  home tutoring Higher secondary students.

 

She has entrepreneurship experience from 2016 to 2021 (also in Mumbai) as a Sole Proprietor and Travel Consultant for domestic and international destinations.

 

Kavita is an Accredited Storyteller, having completed the Beginners Storytelling course of Kathalaya, Bengaluru, which is led by Geeta Ramanujam and is affiliated with the International Storytelling Center, USA.  Kavita has also studied Bharatnatyam Dance, and has done Pushtimargiya Haveli Sangeet certification in classical Kirtan singing.

 

Kavita recently completed studying Storytelling online with Rituparna Ghosh (New Delhi, Your Story Bag).  She will be  studying Storytelling with Eric Miller (Chennai, World Storytelling Institute) and pursuing the Diploma in Storytelling at Kathalaya.

 

Kavita is fluent in Gujarati, English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Yogita Ahuja.

Yogita is the founder of "I Nurture Me" Learning Services, an educational consulting and corporate training organization. She comes with 15 years of training and consulting experience. She is an accredited Storyteller, certified by the International Institute of Storytelling, USA, and Kathalaya, Bengaluru. She likes to work with adults -- corporate leaders, teachers, trainers, and parents -- to help them gain insights into different aspects of storytelling for communication and leadership.

 

She has now partnered with Kathalaya to offer Kathalaya’s Story Space programs for children in Ahmedabad.

 

Yogita is a post-graduate in Training from the Indian Chapter of American Society for Training and Development (ISTD). She is a certified English language teacher from TESOL, USA.

 

Yogita has personally trained more than 5,000 young and mid-senior level leaders representing leading Indian and Multinational companies in the corporate sector. She has worked with around 500 students and teachers in the education sector. Her vision is to help each one discover the joy of learning through storytelling.

 

Yogita has worked with and trained senior leaders in companies such as Adani Gas Ltd, DB Schenker India, Pavit Ceramics and Tiles, Bajaj Finserv, Colgate India, Lodha group, and Mahindra Group companies.

 

Schools she has worked with in Ahmedabad include Udgam School for Children, Red Bricks Foundation, Zydus School for Excellence, and HB Kapadia - The 9 Kids.
